Hey everyone! I just bought the Asus Nvidia ROG Astral 5090 RTX, and I have a Corsair RM1000x 80 Plus Gold power supply. I've read that I need specific 12VHPWR cables to avoid any potential issues. Can anyone tell me if my power supply already comes with those cables, or will I need to purchase them separately?

If your power supply doesn’t have built-in 12VHPWR cables, don’t worry! The card comes with a 4 x 8-pin to 12VHPWR adapter, which should work just fine for you.

Thanks so much! I’ll check it out when I get the card this week. I really hope my PSU can handle the 5090 along with my Ryzen 9950x without any issues!

Unfortunately, your PSU is ATX v2.4, which doesn't include the necessary 12VHPWR cables. Those are only included with ATX 3.0 or 3.1 models. You can get the Corsair 12VHPWR cables specifically designed for older PSUs or just use the adapter cable that came with your graphics card.
