I'm looking to sign up for Claude, specifically to use the Claude Code feature in my development environment. I'm really curious to hear how much everyone is spending monthly for their usage and what amounts of usage you typically have. I'm trying to get a better idea of what the costs look like for real users.

I'm on the $300 AUD Max plan and recently upgraded to the 20x version. It’s a game changer for my multiple projects with several 'junior devs' working simultaneously!
I'm spending around $100 a month. I started with about $20 on Claude Code using API keys, figured out its potential, and then switched to the Max plan.
I keep it pretty basic at about $20 a month. I try to keep my chats short and manage my usage wisely, and I rarely hit any limits.
Same here! I often summarize longer chats into notes to prepare for fresh discussions.
I signed up for the Claude Max plan and average around $40 daily in token usage. I did hit some usage limits once or twice, so I’ve switched to using Sonnet for my regular tasks and only pull up Opus when needed.
Is your Max plan the x5 or x20? My team just switched to a subscription model, and we're figuring out what level fits us.
I've noticed more users are realizing that the Max plan is a steal since they have limits. It's sad to see so many waste tokens though.
Before I moved to the Max plan, I was shelling out about $50 to $75 a day. It definitely adds up if you’re using it heavily!
I assume you make profits with it? Otherwise, that sounds quite steep!
Is there a page that actually details how many API tokens the Max plan gives you? I'm dropping about $20 a day on the API and would love to switch if the Max plan covers my needs.
