Hey everyone! I'm struggling to play the latest games on my current PC setup and could really use some guidance on upgrading. Here are my specs: I'm running an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 at 3.60 GHz, with 16GB of RAM and a 4GB Radeon RX 580 graphics card. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Technology B550M DS3H AC. I'm not sure what to do next—do I need to replace my motherboard as well? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

First off, what's your budget and where are you located? Also, what resolution are you aiming for? The type of games you play matters too, so let us know!
No need for a new motherboard! You just need to upgrade your CPU, GPU, and possibly your power supply. That's the right way to go based on what you currently have.
Thanks for confirming! Do you have any recommendations for a GPU that can handle the new Battlefield?
With your budget of around $1,500, I'd recommend considering a full rebuild. Look at getting a Ryzen 7 5700X and a Radeon RX 580, along with a new PSU. You might also think about a completely new setup with options like a 9600X on a B550 mobo, a 9070XT, 32GB of RAM, a 2TB SSD, and a good case. Just be cautious; you might go over budget with that.
I mostly play COD right now and want to try out new releases as they come. My budget is about $1K to $2K, and I'm in New Zealand.
