I have an Android 11 phone that I've always updated manually, but recently I've noticed that some critical apps haven't received any updates. This includes important apps like my banking app and the Google dialer/messages, which seem to be stuck on older versions. I'm wondering if this is because of a lack of storage, as I still have around 14GB available. Is the fact that Android 11 is considered older software affecting these updates? With about 8% of the market still using it, shouldn't it still receive updates? Also, how can I check if a specific app has reached its end of life, especially for Google apps? Any insights would be really appreciated!

It looks like Android 11 is on the decline! Some apps, particularly banking and Google ones, might not be getting updates anymore. It's not likely due to your storage since 14GB should be sufficient, but rather that Android 11 is old enough that developer support could be dropping off.

Is there any way to force these updates or find announcements about this? It’s frustrating!
