Is anyone else having trouble connecting to Microsoft services today? Our organization in the US East region cannot sign in to Microsoft 365 or access applications that rely on Entra SSO. The government cloud environment appears to be working normally. Are others seeing 502 or 503 errors, slow email, or problems with Teams, SharePoint, and web applications?

The most noticeable problem seems to be Entra authentication and SSO. Sites that depend on Microsoft sign-in are failing, even when the rest of the network is fine. Some organizations without SSO are still reporting slow or unreliable mail, so authentication may not be the only affected component.
The outage appears to be intermittent and location-dependent. Some people in the East and Central regions are getting login failures while others can access Microsoft 365 normally. Teams, SharePoint, admin portals, and email have all been mentioned, but many environments started recovering after a short period.
This appears to be a Microsoft 365 service incident affecting users in the United States, with reports later expanding to the United Kingdom and some European services. Our services are back to normal now, including SSO into the admin portals. It may be worth checking whether newly created policies, device sync, and web apps have caught up, since those can remain delayed even after sign-in starts working again. Keep records of failed access and downtime if your organization needs to document an SLA impact.
We saw the same thing in Western Europe with OIDC applications using Microsoft authentication, so the impact may not be limited strictly to US users.
