Is anyone else experiencing Microsoft Teams problems this morning? Chat history is missing for many users, while newly started chats work intermittently. On some mobile devices, conversations show an org ID and UUID prefix followed by a message that the content is unavailable. Desktop clients seem to be working better in some cases, and the Microsoft status page initially showed no problems. We're trying to determine whether this is a broad service issue or something related to our network or authentication setup.

Yes, we’re seeing very similar behavior. Mobile chat history is missing or out of sync with the desktop client, some users can’t be messaged, and notifications aren’t consistently appearing. Reinstalling the mobile app helped only partially, so this doesn’t look like a simple local installation problem.
It appears to be affecting multiple regions and Microsoft services rather than just one company’s ISP. Some people report normal connectivity, while others are seeing missing history, UUID-style identifiers, or failed messages. I’d compare desktop and mobile behavior, avoid repeatedly reinstalling clients, and monitor the service advisory while Microsoft investigates.
There also seems to be a wider Microsoft 365 authentication problem. We’ve had trouble with Teams, Outlook, remote desktop or Windows app connections, and sign-in services across multiple users. The service status page may remain green until Microsoft posts an advisory, so it may be worth checking again later.
