I'm looking to help a friend build a simple static website for her home inspection business. She needs around 2-3 informational pages, with no forms or complex features. I've done some web development with Python, Django, HTML, and Sass, but I haven't handled the hosting part much. The last static site I built was for a friend's family member, and they took care of the hosting and domain setup. Now, since I'll be doing everything myself, I'm looking for suggestions or resources on how to host this new site. I've heard that platforms like Amazon and GoDaddy are good choices, but I'm open to other recommendations too!

You should definitely check out Cloudflare and GitHub Pages for free hosting. They’re great options for static sites!
I recommend using Cloudflare Pages. It's free and ensures you get the reliability of Cloudflare. Just make sure to go with a basic static HTML setup!
Thanks! Can I set up a custom domain, or should I purchase one from another site first?
Haha, love this suggestion!
Netlify is another fantastic option for hosting static sites for free. You might want to give it a look!

Thanks! So would I need to register a domain on Cloudflare and host it on GitHub?
