I have a 7:10 PM Genius Bar appointment at an Apple Store in London to replace the battery in my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The store closes at 9:00 PM. Has anyone had a battery replacement scheduled that late? Were you able to collect the phone the same evening, or did the store keep it overnight for pickup the next day?

Mine was completed within a few hours. With a late appointment, though, they might keep the phone overnight. Battery availability can also make a difference, although they’ll usually have the part for a scheduled appointment.
Some battery replacements are surprisingly quick—people have had them done in around 15 to 30 minutes, or within a couple of hours. If the queue is short, you could potentially get it back before closing, but it isn’t guaranteed.
