I've been noticing that whenever I open the X app, a random video just starts playing on the homepage without me clicking anything. I'm concerned about the potential risks to my iPhone. I saw someone mention a video link that led to a virus, but can simply having a video autoplaying cause any harm to my device?

Nope, an autoplaying video on X isn't going to infect your device with a virus. The real risk comes from any links that might be shared with the video. Clicking a link can lead you to malware, but just watching a video doesn’t pose a threat unless you take additional actions, like downloading something from it.
