Can I connect my phone or tablet to my old LG TV for streaming?

Hey everyone! I have an older LG TV that I mainly use to watch movies from my laptop via HDMI. I want to use my Android phone and tablet to stream content to it, but I'm struggling to make it work since the TV doesn't have Bluetooth or internet access. I've tried using a Bluetooth adapter, but that didn't help. Can anyone suggest a simple way to connect my devices? Thanks for any help!

You can get a streaming device like a Chromecast, which will let you cast from your phone or tablet directly to your TV. It’s pretty straightforward! Just connect the Chromecast to your TV and set it up with your Wi-Fi. Since your TV doesn’t have internet, consider using a mobile hotspot from your phone for the initial setup.

Once your Chromecast is set up, you can just cast from apps directly to it. Super easy!

What model are your phone and tablet? Knowing that can help find the best method for you. Just curious if they support casting features natively.

My phone is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro and the tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6.
