I unfortunately fell victim to a phishing scam where someone pretended to be my manager and got me to send them gift card codes. I've already contacted Apple and they mentioned that the gift cards haven't been used yet. Is there any chance I could get the amount back?

Yeah, I've heard that if you report a scam and the funds haven't been used yet, Apple does have a process to potentially recover those amounts. Just make sure to follow their instructions through the support link.
Honestly, it sounds pretty frustrating to be in this position. A lot of people question how someone could fall for such a scam, but it can happen to anyone. If you reported the scam and the cards are flagged, there's a chance Apple might help you out with the funds.
I get where you're coming from, but keep in mind that Apple isn’t really liable for this. They might help you if the funds are recoverable, but it was you who sent the codes. It's a tough lesson, but important to learn from.
