I'm thinking about getting an AirTag to help keep tabs on my cat. We have a few iOS devices in the house, but my girlfriend only has an Android phone. Is there any way she can track the AirTag using her Android, or at least through a web browser?

No, the AirTag is designed to function only with Apple devices. If you login to iCloud on an Android device or a PC, you will not be able to see the AirTag. If you login to Safari in an Apple store with your iCloud account, you will not be able to see the AirTag either. If you use the Help a Friend functionality on a friend´s phone and login with your iCloud account, you will not be able to see the AirTag. In order to see the AirTag, you must buy or borrow an iOS or Mac device, log out of iCloud, login with the account associated with the AirTag, delete existing iCloud data on the device (eg: photos), and then you will be able to see the AirTag in the FindMy system. Alternatively, you can share the AirTag before you lose it with someone else.
Unfortunately, you can't track an AirTag directly from an Android device. Apple's Find My service is designed to work seamlessly with iOS devices. If you want to keep track of your AirTag on non-Apple devices, you might consider using iCloud.com, but it can be tricky and might involve logging in with 2FA each time.

So, I can't just use iCloud in my browser to track it directly?
