I recently bought Minecraft on my iPhone, but unfortunately, my device got damaged beyond repair. Now that I'm using an Android phone, I want to play my game, but when I try to download it, it's prompting me to make a new purchase. Is there any way to access my game without having to buy it again? Also, I'm curious why it's not allowed to mention 'help' in the title here; seems a bit odd to me!

You purchased the game for iOS, so it’s tied to your iPhone. If you want to play on Android, you'll need to get a new copy from the Google Play Store.
Do you have an iPad? If you do, you can still use the iOS version on that device before deciding to switch platforms!
Why not just get another iPhone if you really want to play it without repurchasing?
Unfortunately, there's no way to transfer your purchase from iPhone to Android. They are separate ecosystems, meaning you'll need to buy the game again specifically for the Android version. Sorry about that!

Is there really no workaround at all?
