Can I Use a 12VHPWR to Dual 8-Pin and One Extra 8-Pin for My GPU?

Hey everyone! I just built my first PC, which has been a blast! Now I'm on the hunt for a GPU and I'm looking at the 9070 XT. Here's my dilemma: I only have two 8-pin PCIe cables left, but luckily, I have a 12VHPWR to dual 8-pin cable that came with my PSU. Is it okay to use this dual cable along with another single 8-pin? I'm concerned since many 9070 XTs require three 8-pin connectors. My PSU is an MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5, and since this is my first build, I really want to avoid any issues. I couldn't find an answer in the manual, so any advice would be super appreciated!

Yeah, using the 12VHPWR to dual 8-pin along with one additional 8-pin is perfectly fine! That's one of the things it's designed for. Just make sure your connections are secure before powering up your system.

If you're only using one connector for your motherboard and three 8-pins for the GPU, that should work great! Just ensure that your PSU can handle the load without any problems.
