I'm considering making the switch from Windows to Linux, but one of the main features I love in VRChat is the Selfie Expression. This feature allows desktop users without VR to have head and hand tracking, and I use it quite a lot. I've heard from a Linux user that it might work if there's no kernel anti-cheat involved, but when I asked in the VRChat community, they said I would still need to use Windows to access that feature. Can anyone confirm if it's possible to run this on Linux or if there's a way around it?

When asking tech questions, it’s always good to mention your specific Linux distribution and any hardware details you have. That way, you might get more tailored help!
Honestly, I don't see any strong reason it shouldn't be possible, aside from some messy coding on VRChat's part. It might work if the right conditions are met, but I can’t guarantee it.

I've heard that Proton might not support all Windows features fully, and webcam support could be one of the missing pieces.
