I'm trying to decide between the Corsair 4000D and the 5000D for my PC build. Space is pretty tight, but I'm curious if the extra features and size of the 5000D would be worth it. What do you all think?

It really depends on whether you need more space. If you're planning to use large components, then the 5000D might be worth it, but if you don't have big parts, the 4000D does just fine too.

Consider what parts you're using! I just built a PC for my wife with the 4000D, and it fit a full-size GPU and a big cooler without any issues. It seems to have ample space unless you're going for extreme builds. Also, Corsair has a handy comparison article if you're looking for more details!

Yeah, the 4000D is great for most setups! For my needs, it's definitely the perfect case.

Good to know! Sounds like the 4000D could work for me.

I was stuck between the two for ages but ultimately went with a smaller case. The Lian Li Lancool 207 Digital is great for space-saving without skimping on quality!

I chose the 5000D for future-proofing. It handles bigger GPUs and lets me install more cooling options. I've used it since 2022 without any cramping issues, and I don’t see myself upgrading my case for a while!

The 5000D gives you more internal space, which might be helpful if you're planning on adding components down the line. I've used it and it fitted everything comfortably, including a large radiator.
