I bought an Apple Watch today from an Apple Store in London and had to scan in my details, which felt a bit invasive. I paid in cash, and after the transaction, an employee confirmed my email address for the receipt. However, six hours later, I still hadn't received anything, and my purchase isn't showing up in my Apple Store app. I'm getting worried that something shady might have happened with the receipt. If it doesn't show up by tomorrow, I plan to file a complaint. Is there any explanation for this, or can I locate the receipt somewhere?

It might be a .con instead of a .com error or something similar. If you go back to the store with your watch's serial number, they can help you reprint or re-send the receipt.
Don't stress too much. You can usually find warranty info for your Apple Watch in the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, and it should help you if you bought AppleCare. You can also check warranty coverage on Apple's website.
Yeah, but it's still odd that no receipt came through. What if the employee sent it somewhere else? It just seems unlikely that Apple wouldn’t send an email right away.
Have you looked in your spam or junk folder? Sometimes emails get misrouted there by mistake.
I checked, and there’s nothing in my junk folder.

But my details were correct; I even signed in with a QR code!
