I'm building my first PC and I'm a bit confused about RAM options. I'm wondering if I should go for CL30 or if CL36 would be sufficient. I've heard mixed opinions—some say skipping CL30 will lead to poor performance, but I'd prefer to stick with CL36 because of the cost, provided it's compatible.
Also, I'm curious about recommendations for brands. I've seen mentions of G-Skill and Corsair, but others say Kingston is cheaper and not as good. Here are the specs I'm working with:
ASUS ROG STRIX B850-A GAMING WIFI AMD B850 AM5 DDR5,
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D,
GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5070 WINDFORCE.

CL36 will work perfectly fine for you!
With the Ryzen X3D chips, memory latency isn't a huge concern, so CL36 is totally acceptable. Focus on finding something affordable around 6000MT with CL36. There's no need to stress over CL30 unless you want to spend more for a tiny performance boost.

I’m also considering Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL36 at a slightly higher price, but if I stretch a bit, I could get the XPG Lancer Blade 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30. I've read mixed reviews and I'm worried about quality. Given the current economy, I'm leaning towards the cheaper option, but do you think the third one is worth the investment?
