I'm curious if the RTX 3080 10GB Founders Edition will sag. I've heard varying opinions and wanted to know how much sag is typical or if it's even a concern for this model. Any insights would be appreciated!

Yeah, it can sag, but I heard a funny tip: put a dumbbell on top of it for support. As a scientist, I can tell you that it sounds wild but apparently, it helps with stability and even gives you more FPS!
Pretty much all GPUs will sag to some degree; how much really depends on how heavy the card is. The RTX 3080 isn’t super lightweight, so expect a bit of sag, but it shouldn't be alarming.
Honestly, just get a pole mount. They’re pretty affordable—around ten bucks—and considering how much you invest in your GPU, it’s worth it to keep it stable.
It's a good idea to support any GPU you want to last longer. I use a box of Band-Aids under mine since it fits perfectly and keeps it from sagging.

Is a 10kg dumbbell okay for that? Just want to make sure it’s enough!
