Experiencing Microsoft 365 Authentication Issues?

I just came across a notice about significant issues impacting Microsoft 365 services, primarily related to authentication via Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using Duo. The issue ID is MO1237461. It seems some users are encountering 504 Gateway timeout errors when trying to log in, but I haven't heard much from others yet. Has anyone else been affected?

I've been having issues too! Just like you mentioned, multiple users in our organization are reporting 504 errors, especially when accessing services with MFA through Duo. Definitely feels like a Monday morning problem!

I tried logging into office.com to check if the Duo problems were still happening, but even that site wouldn't load properly for me. Seems there's a wave of issues hitting various services right now.

I monitored the situation via Duo's status page and they are aware of the issue. Interestingly, my organization isn't experiencing any problems as we use AD FS with the Duo plugin, which seems to be working fine.

Yeah, we're facing those 504 errors as well. Microsoft acknowledged the problem, and it looks like they’re investigating the service degradation affecting North America. Anyone using Duo needs to be aware of this.

It seems it's mainly affecting those using Entra with Duo for authentication. Hope they get it sorted soon!
