Find My contacts missing after transferring to a new iPhone

I transferred everything from an iPhone 14 running iOS 26 to a new iPhone 18 Pro using an iCloud backup. Since the transfer, only some of my Find My contacts appear correctly; the rest show "No location found." I've restarted the phone, confirmed that Find My is using the new device, installed the latest bug-fix update, and tried various location and sharing settings. People nearby can sometimes be found successfully, and others can see my location, but I still can't see theirsโeven with my old phone turned off. Has anyone found a fix, or does Find My need time to resynchronize after a phone transfer?

Iโm seeing the same thing after switching phones. I tried turning location sharing and permissions off and back on, hiding and re-adding people, and changing several Find My settings, but nothing helped. Find My still works normally on my other Apple devices, so the new phone seems to be the common factor.

This sounds like a synchronization problem or bug with Find My on the new phone rather than an issue with your contacts. Several people are reporting the same behavior after moving to the iPhone 18 Pro, even after restarting and reinstalling updates. It may resolve once Apple fixes the issue or the location-sharing data finishes syncing.

Same problem here after moving from an older Pro model to the iPhone 18 Pro. Friends can see my location, but I canโt see theirs, and some nearby contacts still show โNo location found.โ That points to a device-side Find My issue rather than everyone needing to resend their location.
