I'm wondering if anyone has experience returning a hardware bundle to Newegg. Recently, I bought a bundle for $1,275 that included some high-performance RAM, a CPU cooler, a motherboard, and a Ryzen CPU. However, I noticed another similar bundle with more RAM for the same price, but the RAM speed is lower. I already own a case, but I'm considering whether the hassle of returning my current bundle for the extra memory is worth it. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Have you opened everything in the bundle? If it’s been used, I’d be cautious about returning it as Newegg can be a bit tricky with that. From my experience, unopened items usually have a smoother return process. If the extra RAM is really significant to you, it might be worth the hassle, but opened items can lead to return complications.
While that new bundle offers more RAM, remember slower RAM might not really be beneficial for most users. Unless you specifically need 64GB, the 32GB option might be better for quicker performance, especially if you don’t utilize all that extra memory. Think of it like upgrading to a bigger car for trips you may never take—sometimes, the sleek, faster option is the better choice!
Thanks for the analogy. That makes sense.
If you don't have a solid reason to need slower memory, swapping bundles might be more trouble than it’s worth. Just make sure you actually need that extra RAM speed or capacity before you go through the return process.
I thought I heard that the speed difference might be negligible. Could be nice to have the extra 32GB though!
Just a heads up, when returning a bundle, you need to send back the entire package, not just part of it. It’s probably easiest to group everything in one box to avoid any issues at the return center. Let me know if you have more questions!
Can you help me with my order number? I need to confirm specifics for this bundle.

Nope. All this in the box, wrapped.
