I've made a mistake that's causing me a headache. I have an Azure account that I use solely for myself, but I forgot to back up my Microsoft Authenticator before switching to a new phone. Now, I can't log into my account or submit a support ticket. The services are still charging me, and I need to know how I can get help from Microsoft to resolve this issue and stop the billing. Any suggestions on the best way to handle this?

Do you have any backup methods set up on your account or access to your old phone? If not, your best bet is to call Microsoft directly or submit a ticket using another Microsoft account if you have one. Just keep in mind that getting a response might take some time since they're swamped with support requests.

I don’t have a backup phone number. My Azure account is pretty old, and I was signed up before they made MFA mandatory. I was only using Authenticator. Fortunately, it’s just a tenant for learning purposes, but I still need to handle the billing!
