Help! Isopropyl Alcohol Got Inside My Phone โ€“ What Do I Do Now?

Hey everyone, I accidentally spilled some Isopropyl alcohol on a family member's phone while cleaning, and it seeped inside through the screen. Now I'm seeing a dark tint on the bottom left of the screen, and shortly after that, the phone just died and won't turn on. I've put the phone in a warm spot hoping to dry it out, but I'm not sure what else to do. Any advice on how to fix this situation?

Itโ€™s good that youโ€™re trying to dry it out! Isopropyl alcohol evaporates relatively quickly, but itโ€™s best if you can give it some time to fully dry. Just keep it in a warm, dry place for a few days. If it still doesnโ€™t turn on afterward, you might want to consider taking it to a professional for repair.

GadgetGuru88: Yeah, itโ€™s important to let it dry completely before trying to power it on again. If it's been a few days and it still doesn't work, definitely think about getting it checked out.
