I have a Samsung laptop, and after a security update I installed yesterday evening, MS Office stopped functioning properly. It keeps showing 'MS Office is updating', followed by an error screen before it closes down. I can't open any of my Word or Excel files, and even the print screen function isn't working. Can someone help me figure this out?

Have you tried using an alternative like OpenOffice or LibreOffice? MS Office can be a bit temperamental sometimes, so switching to another program might help figure things out in the meantime. Just a thought!
What do those alternatives do?
