Help! My Keyboard Isn’t Working on the BitLocker Screen

I haven't accessed my computer in a few days, and when I powered it on, I was greeted by a BitLocker screen asking me for a code, which I have. The problem is, my keyboard isn't working, so I can't type it in. I've been stuck like this for seven hours now and I've attempted several fixes to no avail. Has anyone figured out how to resolve this issue?

This might not be exactly the same, but there's a known issue where keyboards and mice don’t work in the Windows Recovery Environment. They recently released a patch for it (KB5070773). Until then, if your motherboard has a PS/2 port, you could try using a PS/2 keyboard instead. Just remember to power off your computer before plugging it in since those ports aren’t hot-plug like USB.

Have you tried plugging in a wired USB keyboard into a different port? Sometimes using a USB 2.0 port on the back of the computer helps. It might just be a connectivity issue with the ports you're using.
