I worked on a research paper for a month with my friends, Jacob and Matthew. Unfortunately, both Jacob and I got sick during the final week, and Matthew, who didn't get sick, went to school regularly. When I tried to submit the project on Friday, I realized it was missing from my Google Drive. I looked everywhere, including the bin, but it's just not there. I checked with Jacob, and he can't find it either. Matthew isn't answering my texts, and I'm worried since my grade is already at 57%. I created the document, so I'm confused about how it could have vanished like this. The only ones who had access were me, Jacob, Matthew, and our teacher, who has a reputation for being hard on us. Any advice on what to do?

First, try checking the Details view on your Google Drive folder and switch to the Activity tab. It will show you the recent actions, including who moved or deleted the file. That might give you a clue about what happened.
I looked there, and it shows me that I deleted it, but I was in bed all day!
