Help! Pop-up tabs keep appearing while playing mobile games!

Hi everyone! I'm not really tech-savvy, so I need some help. Lately, I've been playing a lot of mobile games on my phone, and I've noticed that a tab frequently pops up in my Chrome browser. I know this might be a scam and I'm hesitant to click on any links, but I'm unsure how to prevent this from happening. It seems to occur mainly when I see game ads. I've tried scanning my device with the Play Store's tools as Google suggested, but nothing has come up. Any advice would be appreciated!

I recommend trying the Brave browser alongside Chrome. It's great at filtering out ads and pop-ups on mobile. If you want to stick with just one browser, look into the AdGuard DNS filter. It can help block ads on most apps and even Chrome. Just search for AdGuard DNS to find the installation guide for your device. It's quite effective!

Sounds like an ad is popping up, likely from one of the games you're playing. It's pretty common with less reputable mobile games. You might want to check the permissions you’ve granted those games; they could be pulling up ads without you realizing it.
