How Can I Backup Photos from My Deceased Dad's iPhone?

Hey everyone, my dad passed away in December, and we're looking to save the photos on his iPhone before we wipe the device. The issue is we don't have access to any Apple account he might have had; we're missing the password and can't get into the associated email address. Is there a straightforward way to back these up, maybe using something like Google Drive or another method?

One option is to see if you can connect the iPhone to a PC and manually copy the photos. That might work if the phone isn't locked with a password. Just plug it in and see if the computer recognizes it! If it’s been a while since you tried this, it might be worth a shot.

GrievingSon88: I haven't tried that in a long time, and when I did with my Samsung, it wouldn't let me. But if this is still an option, I’ll definitely give it a go!
