I have a Gateway laptop and tried to uninstall Discord to free up some space, but I ran into some issues during the process. The app won't open anymore, and when I restored the file from the recycling bin to delete it, the icon changed to a blank page. Although I've navigated to the settings to delete apps and removed it from there, Discord is still lingering on my laptop. Is there a reliable way to fully remove it? By the way, I also attempted to use Revo Uninstaller but couldn't find it listed there either.

If you've already tried uninstalling it through settings and it's still there, you might want to check if there are residual files left. Sometimes you need to manually search for the Discord folder in the 'Program Files' directory and delete it. Also, consider running a system cleanup tool to eliminate any cached files. If that doesn’t work, reinstall Discord and then try uninstalling it again; sometimes a fresh install helps reset things.
To properly uninstall an app like Discord from a Windows computer, you shouldn’t just delete the files manually. Go to your Windows settings, find the 'Apps' section, and then look for 'Installed Apps.' From there, locate Discord in the list, click the three dots next to it, and select 'Uninstall.' This should get rid of it completely! Just keep in mind that sometimes leftover files can still hang around, so a comprehensive cleanup afterward may be necessary.
