How can I disable the touchscreen on a school-managed Windows laptop?

I'm using a Windows laptop provided by my school and want to turn off the touchscreen. I may not have administrator access, so I'm wondering whether there's a keyboard shortcut, a Device Manager setting, or another safe way to disable it without affecting the rest of the laptop.
