How can I get local TV channels at an Airbnb?

My partner and I have been traveling a lot and staying in various Airbnb places. He enjoys watching a lot of TV but gets really frustrated when the TVs don't have basic local channels. We're trying to figure out if there's a device or setup we could use, like a TV antenna, to pick up local stations like ABC, NBC, CBS, and others. I've noticed a future Airbnb we're going to has Roku, but he found it tricky to navigate in a previous Airbnb. Any advice on how we can easily access local channels?
