How Can I Power Off My Phone Without a Working Power Button?

I've been dealing with a broken power button on my Galaxy A13 for about three months now. I can only turn on my phone by receiving calls or charging it, but I can't actually power it off since there's no way to turn it back on without that button. My phone's been running sluggishly lately, and I usually would power it off and back on to fix issues, but that's not an option anymore. What are my alternatives for powering down or resetting my phone?

ADB reboot might work if you have that set up on your computer. Just a heads up that it requires some technical know-how to use.

You can clear your phone's memory instead. Go to Settings > Battery and Device Care > Memory, and hit Clean Now. It may help your phone run better without a full reboot.

Thanks! This sounds like a good workaround for now.

Have you tried using the on-screen options for power? Some phones let you restart or power off from within the settings menu. Just be careful not to accidentally factory reset!

Just to clarify, I can’t power off because I can't get it back on without my button!

If your phone is connected to a charger, check if it automatically turns on. Some models do, but it sounds like yours doesn’t. Just keep looking for settings options!
