How can I remove a strange panda app from my grandpa’s phone?

My grandpa somehow downloaded an app called 'Pando' that has this weird panda hanging on his phone screen. I've deleted all suspicious apps that seemed like scams or potentially malicious, but the panda is still there. I can move it around, and it has these strange energy bars at the top. I'm worried it's from some malware or a virus.

This is why you should get your older relatives an iPhone! They tend to be less problematic and easier to use overall.

That panda might be from a live wallpaper! Check the wallpaper settings to see if that's the case. Sometimes these live wallpapers can be tricky to pinpoint.

I checked that too, but it wasn't a live wallpaper. It's so frustrating!

If all else fails, you might want to consider doing a factory reset on the phone. That should definitely get rid of it, but just make sure to back up any important data first.

Is your grandpa using an Android or an iPhone? If it's an Android, try long-pressing the panda icon, then tap on 'App Info' and uninstall it from there. Sometimes, it's just a stubborn widget.

It's Android! But when I long-press it, nothing happens. Tapping it just sends me to either a solitaire game or a sketchy website.
