I accidentally dropped my phone in the toilet and, in a panic, used rice to dry it out. I've realized that putting it in rice might have made things worse. Right now, I'm letting it dry with a fan, but there's still some rice stuck in the charging port. I've managed to get a couple of pieces out, but there's still about half a grain left. I'm really worried about damaging the phone if I try to get it out myself. Does anyone have any tips on how to safely remove it?

A wooden toothpick is your best bet here! It's not metal and won't damage the components as long as you’re careful. Just gently nudge it around to get the rice out, and don't go too crazy with it! Good luck!

Worked like a charm, dude! Thanks!
