I'm using an M3 MacBook Air, and while Safari is my main browser, I keep running into an issue where PDFs automatically open in Chrome. I really want them to open in Preview instead. I'd like to know how I can set this up without uninstalling Chrome.

I didn't have direct access to my Mac, but from memory, right-click the PDF to get info. There should be an option to set the default app. If you selected Safari or another app, but Chrome still takes over, it seems tricky!
Here’s a screenshot that might help you out! [Link to screenshot] It shows where you can change the default app for opening PDFs.
If you're on a Mac, try this: Control-click on a PDF file and select 'Get Info.' In the window that opens, look for the 'Open With' section and choose Preview. Then, click on 'Change All' to make sure all PDFs open with Preview from now on.
