I just found my old iPad, but I've forgotten the passcode to unlock it. I still have the same Apple ID, and I want to know how I can access my device without losing my data. Any suggestions?

If you decide to factory reset, just keep in mind that you'll lose all data unless you have a backup. So, if you have a backup, restoring it after the reset is a good option. If not, you might have to start from scratch!
You could also try connecting your iPad to iTunes. Sometimes, it may help with unlocking or troubleshooting. But remember, if you go this route, a factory reset might still be necessary if you can't unlock it with the passcode.
Unfortunately, if you can't remember the passcode, you're pretty much locked out. The best way to get back in is to perform a factory reset using your Apple ID. Once you've done that, you can set it up as new or restore from a backup if you have one. Check out the official guide from Apple on how to factory reset your device for step-by-step instructions.
