I'm trying to figure out how to upgrade my existing Pro subscription to Max right before my renewal date. When I select the upgrade option, it says I'll be charged $200, but they'll subtract about $8 for the prorated portion of the Pro plan. Then, in just 10 days, they're going to charge me $200 again. It doesn't seem fair that they're not prorating the Max subscription as well. Do I really have to wait 9 more days, cancel my current subscription, and then resubscribe to Max to get a full month for the full price? Shouldn't they at least apply the prorated amount from my Pro payment to it? If they only prorate unused days from Pro, why not also update the renewal date when I do the upgrade? I feel stuck here because I only have a couple of days left in my billing cycle, and it seems like I'll end up paying around $180 for just two days of Max!

I totally get it; this situation is just ridiculous! I've been facing the same issue, and I've decided to just create a new account instead. It seems like a hassle, but at least I can get around the weird upgrade problems that way.
Honestly, I feel your pain. Upgrading can be such a hassle! I'm also on a Pro subscription, but I'm stuck because I signed up through iOS. I've noticed the price jump between iOS and desktop is ridiculous — $100 on iOS and $125 on desktop! It’s so frustrating not being able to just upgrade smoothly when you want to switch to Max.
I found a possible workaround, but it's in my DM. Let me know if you're interested!

Why do you want to send a DM? Can't we just talk about it here?
