I'm moving an Elixir/Phoenix project from a small VPS to AWS and created a new AWS account specifically for it. I'm using a third-party PaaS to manage deployments and infrastructure, but setup is blocked by the message: "Your account must be verified before you can add new CloudFront resources." AWS Support said the account needed an internal verification review and that I should receive an update within 24 hours. More than 48 hours have passed without any resolution. Has anyone dealt with this recently? How long did verification take, and was there anything specific you had to do to get it moving?

Is the restriction affecting every AWS resource, or only CloudFront?
This happened to me on a new account. The review took roughly a week, and I wasn’t on a paid support plan. It was frustrating, but it eventually cleared as a one-time verification step.

So far it appears to be limited to CloudFront. I was still able to create an EC2 instance without any problems.
