I'm moving an Elixir/Phoenix project from a small VPS to AWS and created a new AWS account specifically for it. I'm using a third-party PaaS tool to handle deployments and infrastructure, but I'm blocked by the message: "Your account must be verified before you can add new CloudFront resources." AWS Support said an internal verification review was required and that I should receive an update within 24 hours. More than 48 hours have passed without any progress. Has anyone dealt with this recently? How long did verification take, and was there anything you needed to do to get it resolved?

Is the verification blocking every AWS resource, or only CloudFront?
I ran into something similar with a new account. The review took roughly a week, and I wasn’t on a paid support plan. It was frustrating, but it ended up being a one-time verification step.

So far it seems limited to CloudFront. I was able to create an EC2 instance without any trouble.
