My prospective employer wants to see my payslips before adding 15% to their offer. Their calculation appears to be based only on base salary, even though a large part of my current compensation comes from allowances. I'm considering editing the PDF to present my compensation differently, but I'm unsure how to handle the situation without misrepresenting my income.

Don’t alter the payslip or try to make changes difficult to detect. That could be treated as document fraud and could cost you the offer or your job. Explain that your total compensation includes allowances and ask them to assess the full package rather than just base pay. You can also negotiate based on the responsibilities and market value of the new role.

Their policy seems to calculate the offer only from base pay, even though the allowances make up a substantial part of my actual compensation.
