I'm trying to configure the PIN release feature for Universal Print but can't find clear instructions. We have a Toshiba multifunction printer that supports PIN release, yet all I can find in the Universal Print Manager is the option for QR code release. Can anyone clarify if the PIN release is set up on the MFP itself? How can users set a PIN for job releases without needing a new one for every print job?

Sounds like a plan! If you set up each user as a department, you should be able to assign a unique PIN to every user without hassle.
I'm in the same boat as you! We've had to inform our departments that if they insist on using PIN codes, they'll need to set up those specific printers manually.
You actually need to set the PIN on the MFP first. The printer's driver connects the job to the right account using that PIN to release the print job. Just a heads up, department codes and secure print are distinct features; both require configuration on the printer and through the driver.
