I recently discovered a 160GB hard drive in my basement and I'm quite sure it works. However, I'm not sure if there's any important data on it, and I'd rather not connect it right now. My main question is whether I could sell it for a decent price or if it's considered too outdated and small to be valuable.

Honestly, a 160GB hard drive isn’t worth much these days. It’s just too small for most people’s needs. You might be better off looking into recycling it instead.
Unless you're really lucky, you'd probably have to pay someone to take it off your hands. It's practically obsolete now!
If you're worried about what’s on it, just make sure to securely wipe it before recycling. You wouldn't want any confidential info floating around!
It could depend on what's on it! You might want to plug it into an old laptop if you’re curious. There might even be hidden treasures like old Bitcoin wallets, who knows?
Haha, right? I’ll just check it out gently in case!

Yeah, that’s what I figured. Better to recycle than let it gather dust.
