First pin down what is actually failing. Is the endpoint agent malfunctioning, is the management console unavailable, or are machines failing to start? Those point to different problems. For affected devices, compare timestamps, operating system versions, sensor versions, and any recent changes. A small set of reports without that detail is hard to diagnose.
