Is My Swollen iPhone 13 Battery Eligible for a Free Replacement?

I have an iPhone 13, and I've noticed that the battery is starting to pop out from the case because it's swollen. I'm wondering if I can get a free replacement for it. Has anyone dealt with this before?

Yeah, no free replacement here! But it might only cost around $100 for a battery replacement if you go that route.

Hey, first off, it sounds like you might want to stop using the phone until it's checked out. If you have AppleCare+, you might get a replacement, but usually, Apple just replaces the entire phone in these cases rather than just the battery. And keep in mind that they typically charge for the replacement, so it's not totally free.

To add on, if your phone is out of warranty or you don’t have AppleCare, don’t expect to get it replaced for free. They may offer a paid option.
