Hey everyone! I'm curious about the online store router-switch.com. Has anyone here ever bought any hardware from them? I know they're based in Hong Kong and have been around for a while, selling what they claim are authentic brand IT products at much lower prices. Personally, I have my doubts about purchasing something like a server or switch from them, but I'm wondering if items like SFP transceivers might be okay to buy. They currently have the Cisco MA-SFP-10GB-LRM listed at a price that's ten times cheaper than Cisco's standard price. What do you all think?

Personally, I wouldn't buy from them, but that's just my view! I looked into the Cisco MA-SFP-10GB-LRM and found it backordered across several sites. Just a heads-up before making a decision!
I've checked out their prices compared to authorized resellers and they are definitely cheaper! Just keep in mind that the support could be hit or miss. I did use some of their network modules in my lab, and one had a small issue. Thankfully, their support was quick to fix it, so overall, I'd say they seem genuine and reliable for the most part.
We've purchased a few enterprise access points and some small switches from them over the last few years to cut costs, and everything has worked perfectly. Their sales rep has always been professional and helpful. I can't speak for their SFPs, but from what I've experienced, they seem like a legit vendor.
For Cisco gear, I always go the refurbished route. I've had great experiences with Optimum Data over the years!
