Is This Apple Security Alert Text a Scam?

Hey everyone! I received a text message that claims to be from Apple saying there's suspicious activity on my Apple ID, including a transaction attempt at an Apple Store and some unusual sign-in attempts. They warned that my account could be at risk and provided a phone number to call. I haven't responded or noticed any weird charges on my accounts, but I'm really worried and want to know if anyone else has seen something like this. Is this a scam?

This definitely sounds like a scam. You should never use the links or phone numbers given in texts like that. Instead, just Google for the official Apple Support number and reach out to them directly. Stay safe!

CuriousGeorge8: I didn't click on anything. I'm going to report this suspicious message to Apple. It came from an odd iCloud account.
