It seems that several Microsoft 365 users are experiencing difficulties receiving external emails. We're using an external MX setup and have noticed delays, specifically a '4.1.0 - Unknown address error' with a temporary server error message. Is anyone else encountering this problem?

Looks like this is a widespread issue. A lot of my customers are reporting similar problems with external emails not being received.
I can confirm I'm in the same boat. Can't receive any external emails for about an hour now.
Yeah, it's definitely down right now. I've been waiting for an important email and nothing's coming through. Microsoft really needs to sort this out soon.
We're having the same issue too! Just tried sending an email from my personal account and it hasn't made it through. My location is Waterloo, ON.
