I've been encountering a frustrating problem with my weather app on my iPhone 16e. It keeps prompting me for permission to access my location, and no matter how many times I select "while using this app," it just keeps asking. On top of that, the weather complications on my Watch SE2 have completely vanished. Sometimes, everything works fine for an hour, but then the issues return with the disappearing weather app and complications. I've restarted both my iPhone and my Apple Watch multiple times, but it hasn't helped. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this?

It might be worth checking your privacy settings for location services on your iPhone. Sometimes, toggling the settings off and back on helps resolve these weird glitches. If all else fails, a factory reset might be necessary, but try the simpler things first!
It sounds like you're unintentionally set to only allow location access while using the app. If you want the weather to update automatically, you need to switch it to 'Always' instead. If that option isn't showing up anymore, that could be part of the problem. And the disappearing complications on your watch could be a bug that sometimes happens after an update.
