I'm on the hunt for a parental control app that works on both iPhone and Android devices. I'd like to install it in a way that my kids don't get notifications about it, so I can monitor their usage discreetly. Are there any good options out there that fit this description?

I really question why you'd want it to be secret. That sounds like spyware, which isn't a good direction to go in. There are plenty of parental control apps that don't require being sneaky about it, and I suggest you look into those instead.

Honestly, if you're having trust issues with your kids, it might be time for a chat instead of going behind their backs. My daughter is grown now, but we always told her about the tools we used to keep her safe online. Trust is built through communication, not secrecy.

Why would you consider installing something without them knowing? Just get a well-reviewed parental control app that’s open about its features. Trying to sneak around could lead to more issues down the road.
